This listing is for (1) freeform faceted polished peridot, which will be intuitively selected. As natural stones vary, they may appear slightly different from those pictured. These are from Pakistan.

Peridot (August + Leo birthstone)

Peridot is huge solar energy - a dose of vitamin D for your soul. This stone is full of sunshine - lighthearted, effervescent, happy, & joyful. A stone of transformation and manifestation, Peridot can attract abundance & bring good luck. It’s also been worn as a protective talisman.

Peridot is the green, gem-quality mineral Olivine; its iron composition is what gives it that gorgeous yellowish green coloring. Referred to as “the extreme gem” by GIA, Peridot is “born of fire and brought to light”. It’s one of only 2 crystals that forms in molten rock of the upper mantle and not the Earth’s crust (diamond being the other); and is forced up to the surface through earthquakes and volcanoes. Peridot has also been found in rare pallasite meteorites formed 4.5 BYA, a remnant of the birth of the our solar system.

These were hand selected at the East Coast gem show from my supplier from Pakistan. He sources them directly from the lapidary artists.
