This listing is for (1) 2g baggie of raw crystallized rose quartz, which will be intuitively selected. This is natural material, so it may differ slightly in appearance from those pictured here.

Properties

Rose Quartz
The stone of unconditional love. Meditating with rose quartz activates the heart and can aid in emotional healing & reawakening trust. Rose Quartz also helps to release stress & tension. 

The crystallized rose quartz makes normal rose quartz properties more powerful.

Mineralogy

Traditional rose quartz gets its color and hazy/translucent appearance is due to microscopic fibrous inclusions of a pink borosilicate mineral related to dumortierite. Whereas, what we call 'crystallized rose quartz' is actually substantially physically different. It's been suggested to call it something else like "pink quartz" or "rosquartz" (German), but neither has stuck. 

They form in pegmatite pockets, and “the color is caused by irradiation-induced color centers based on aluminum, Al, and phosphorous, P, that replace Si in the atom lattice” (mindat.org).

Sourcing

These are from my supplier in Brazil, sourced mine direct from Minas Gerais. They source their inventory from small-scale miners and cutters throughout the country, but predominantly Minas Gerais and Bahia. My supplier sources mine direct if possible, and if not - they source from small family-owned businesses that resell them nearby the mines. This insures the money stays in the local communities, and they can insure that good environmental and labor practices are at play.
