Properties

Brecciated Jasper
A supportive and nurturing energy, brecciated jasper can soothe during times of stress, helping us to remain calm and focused when otherwise overwhelmed. It can help with organization and mental clarity, improving concentration and focus.

 

Mineralogy

Jasper by definition is opaque quartz with inclusions - and brecciated jasper has no shortage of inclusions. It gets its name from "breccia", a geological term that refers to rock composed of broken fragments of different stones melded together.  

 

Sourcing

From a domestic lapidary artist who sourced these from a friend who mined them in Dead Camel Mountain Range in Fallon, NV.
