This listing is for (1) Campo Del Cielo Meteorite, which will be intuitively selected. These are natural meteorites and each is unique, so yours may differ a bit from those pictured but will look very similar. 

Each is approximately 9-13g. Each of these beautiful specimens come in a black floating frame display (as pictured).

Campo Del Cielo

Campo Del Cielo meteorites are iron group meteorites from Argentina (one renowned specimen was tested at about 90% iron and 10% nickel, though there are other inclusions). The craters are estimated to be about 4200-4700 years old. Though they were “discovered” in 1576, they’ve been well known by indigenous groups in the area for much longer. There are at least 26 craters in the crater field, and the field covers an area of 3 x 18.5km, with an associated strewn area with bb meteorites of 60km. The age of the meteor itself is estimated at about 4.5 billion years old, formed as part of the development of our solar system. In total, approx 100 tonnes of fragments have been found, which is the most of any meteorite find, and why they are quite affordable in the world of meteorite collecting.

These were hand-selected at a local gem show from my trusted supplier, who works directly with meteorite hunters, scientists, universities, and collectors from around the world to source high quality meteorite specimens.

AVOID WATER & SELF CARE PRODUCTS

Avoid exposure to water (especially saltwater and chlorine), lotions, sprays, soap, etc because they can damage the elastic over time - and this can lead to snapping. Even the oils and sweat on our skin can wear out the elastic eventually.

Remove your bracelet when bathing, swimming, doing the dishes, etc. These activities can also dull the crystals.

STORAGE + CLEANING

Every bracelet comes with an organic cotton pouch for safe storage when not in use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause crystals to fade over time. Keep your bracelet out of reach of children and pets, as they can easily snap the elastic.

Use a soft cloth (like microfiber) to wipe off oils, dust, or dirt. Avoid soap or harsh chemicals, and just use a damp cloth if needed. Allow your crystal bracelet to dry before wearing it again.

REMOVE BEFORE ROUGH ACTIVITIES

Avoid getting your bracelet caught on things by removing it before doing activities like playing with kids or dogs, yard work, exercise, etc. You can also wear them on your non-dominant hand to reduce chances of getting caught and snapping.

GENTLE HANDLING

The elastic can snap if handled roughly. Gently roll your bracelet over your hand when putting it on or taking it off, and avoid pulling or stretching too hard.
