This listing is for (1) raw selenite specimen from the Naica Mine, the one pictured here. These are natural specimens that are totally raw/unpolished - so surface imperfections are expected. Naica Selenite
Among the rarest and most high-intensity, high-quality, and high-frequency Selenite in the world. This Naica Selenite raises vibrations of the space and attunes individuals to the greater good of all beings, and to the consciousness of higher self. Known as the happiness stone, it’s white rays will surround you and all who are with you, to envelop the space in a clear, joyful energy. These bbs would be great to open a ritual circle and create a sacred space. It’s got a very gentle and peaceful energy, but it’s strong and able to cleanse crystals near it. Negative energy cannot persist where this beautiful Selenite is present.

Sourcing

These are sourced from my trusted vendor who imports these specimens into the US from Mexico. They source directly from folks who recovered these from the Naica Mine in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Among the rarest and most high-intensity, high-quality, and high-frequency Selenite in the world. The Naica Mine is located in Chihuahua, Mexico and is a lead, zinc, and silver mine that happens to also contain enormous Selenite crystals (google images: Cave of Crystals).

The mine has been indefinitely closed since 2015 due to uncontrollable flooding. The conditions are dangerous, with internal temperatures reaching 136F and 99% humidity - so to recover stones, people would have to don a specialized suit with an oxygen supply.

The Cave of Crystals is roughly 300m below the surface, beneath limestone host rock. This chamber contains some of the largest natural Selenite crystals ever found. These bbs are EXTREMELY RARE and it’s unknown if/when the mine will be reopened to recover more.
