Sericho Meteorite

Meteorites can be a dynamic aid for transformation, can be overwhelming for some folks. But the heavy metals (like iron & nickel) provide some grounding balance and protection. Can help develop patience and encourage you to see something through until the end. Encourages you to live in the present.

Olivine is a protective stone that supports balance and stability, as well as alleviating stress and anxiety.

From ASU: In 2016, two brothers were searching for their camels and came across several large, dense stones west of the village of Habaswein and south of Sericho, Kenya. There are no rocks in this area, so they decided they were meteorites. They spent several weeks collecting them with engine hoists and moving them to their homes in Habaswein. Though recognized as meteorites in 2016, the masses had been known to camel-herders for decades. One village elder said that as a child, he and his brothers would play on top of the stones.

They consist of an iron-nickel meteorite matrix that holds rounded crystals of Olivine (peridot family), giving it the stony-iron Pallasite classification. Strewn field is over 45km long, and the pallasite is 70% round olivine silicate, typically with orange coloring, and most are opaque. The green and translucent crystals are more rare.

These were hand-selected at a local gem show from my trusted supplier, who works directly with meteorite hunters, scientists, universities, and collectors from around the world to source high quality meteorite specimens.

AVOID WATER & SELF CARE PRODUCTS

Avoid exposure to water (especially saltwater and chlorine), lotions, sprays, soap, etc because they can damage the elastic over time - and this can lead to snapping. Even the oils and sweat on our skin can wear out the elastic eventually.

Remove your bracelet when bathing, swimming, doing the dishes, etc. These activities can also dull the crystals.

STORAGE + CLEANING

Every bracelet comes with an organic cotton pouch for safe storage when not in use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause crystals to fade over time. Keep your bracelet out of reach of children and pets, as they can easily snap the elastic.

Use a soft cloth (like microfiber) to wipe off oils, dust, or dirt. Avoid soap or harsh chemicals, and just use a damp cloth if needed. Allow your crystal bracelet to dry before wearing it again.

REMOVE BEFORE ROUGH ACTIVITIES

Avoid getting your bracelet caught on things by removing it before doing activities like playing with kids or dogs, yard work, exercise, etc. You can also wear them on your non-dominant hand to reduce chances of getting caught and snapping.

GENTLE HANDLING

The elastic can snap if handled roughly. Gently roll your bracelet over your hand when putting it on or taking it off, and avoid pulling or stretching too hard.
